Bifocals do not provide intermediate vision for your monitor. Trifocals and Progressives are optimized for distance vision. The bottom - near vision segment - is difficult to use for extended reading and close work. The center - intermediate segment - is too small for comfortable monitor viewing. You find yourself lifting your head and bending forward to use the bottom segment for viewing the monitor. The top, distance segment is not in focus for your monitor.
We offer two unique solutions for mutli-focal wears.
1. Sola Access™. We convert current prescription to Sola Access™ computer/reading lenses. The bottom of the lens will have a large, wide reading area. Your intermediate segment will be moved to the top of the lens, for a wide, easy to use segment for viewing the computer and other intermediate distances.
2. Computer ClipOns. Our computer clip-ons will change your top, distance segment into an computer/interm,ediate distance viewing area. Flip the clips up and out of the way or quickly remove them for distance viewing.
